Updated on February 15th, at 11:13: The space puzzler Gravity Galaxy is now released on the App Store and Google Play. You can overcome the game's challenging galactic gauntlets by downloading it for free.

Gravity Galaxy is a striking hybrid puzzler, coming to iOS and Android later this week.

Using a planetary gravitational pull to your advantage, this galactic head-scratcher sees you travel across numerous levels, speeding through space before you finally reach planet Earth. Just getting home is acceptable, but if you want to be a real champion, you'd best collect the three stars scattered about the levels.

Its one-touch controls make Gravity Galaxy as easy as possible while you take on tricky challenges, avoid alien lasers, and testing your reflexes. Its low-poly graphics are also rather stunning, and gives the whole game unapologetic character and charm.

We don't have long to wait as the game launched this Thursday the 16th February on iOS and Android.

Construction Simulator made its triumphant return, with a brand new entry to the series. Whilst its predecessor was set in a fictional U.S. state, Construction Simulator 3 transports the earth-churning, pile-driving action back to Europe — in this case, a central Alpine region. As you work through the game’s 70 missions, you’ll be able to freely roam its 10-square-kilometre map. You have towering mountains, evergreen forests and idyllic towns as your backdrop, all rendered in 3D.

Since we've actually got time to reflect on some VR news today let's take a look at Stifled, the spiritual successor to Lurking, coming soon to the Oculus Rift.

Stifled is a striking minimal horror game which works in one very unnerving way - you need to use sound to see. The more you talk, the more the world around is exposed but, of course, there's a catch. The monsters lurking in the same world can hear as well and they're drawn to you.

Make noise with your microphone to see. Be quiet to hide. These might be two super simple mechanics but when used in an atmospheric horror it's quite genius. The developers have dissected something common (a survival/exploration game) and given it a new angle. Take away one of your major senses and all of a sudden you're a child hiding from the Boogyman beneath your bed-sheets at night.

Though it was set to launch last month, a little more polish was needed to bring the whole game from 'good enough' to 'brilliant'. There's no definite date planned as of yet but I can't see it taking more than a couple more months to buff. We'll keep you updated when we know more.

Read more about the game on its Steam page.
Stardew Valley’s long-awaited 1.5 update still has an unconfirmed release date for mobile and Switch platforms, but its developer Eric Barone (also known as ConcernedApe) has revealed some details about the upcoming update on their Twitter account.

The 1.5 update introduces a new farm type, Beach, which allows you to build the homestead of your dreams on a sandy paradise complete with palm trees and a river running across it.

Barone also shared a screenshot of the new creation menu that appears when you begin a new game, which now includes additional options to customise your experience in Pelican Town. Here, you can now adjust certain structures of the game such as being able to remix Community Center bundles and Mine Rewards, as well as having the choice of whether you want monsters to spawn on the farm or not.
If you're a seasoned player thinking of starting a new farm when 1.5 comes out, I'd like to highlight a couple of new features. There will be a new farm type, "Beach Farm", and a new "Advanced Game Options" menu, from which you can adjust some aspects of the game: pic.twitter.com/iMnw2uGLEO— ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) December 20, 2020There’s also an option for “Guarantee Year 1 Completable”, which means you’ll be able to gather all the items you need to complete the Community Center bundles without having to wait for the second year to obtain missing items.
for PC, yes very likely. For Console, early next year— ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) December 18, 2020A Twitter user asked if the update will drop this year, to which Barone replied “for PC, yes very likely. For Console, early next year” This doesn’t necessarily mean mobile versions will get the content at the same time as console, but it should still mean the update will possibly release for iOS and Android sometime in 2021.

For now though, you can catch up on Stardew Valley by downloading it from the iOS App Store or Google Play for Android. It’s a premium title which costs $3.99 on mobile. It’s also available as part of Google Play Pass.
Read our list about the best farming games available for Android phones and tablets!

Lovecraftian comedy-horror game The Innsmouth Case now has a firm release date for iOS and Android. Assemble Entertainment and developer Robot Pumpkin Games' latest will hit the shores of mobile on June 23rd – just under a month away.

You'll take on the role of a not-so-hot detective hired to look into the disappearance of a one Tabitha Marsh. Your investigation will lead you to the creepy town of Innsmouth, where you'll have to deal with the locals and gradually uncover what on earth's going on.

At the end of last month we reported that The Longest Journey had been remastered for iOS devices. It came out in Australia and New Zealand, but the rest of us had to wait a little longer to get our paws on the game.

Well, that waiting is over and done with. The game is live right now on the App Store, meaning you can play a touch-enabled version of the classic point-and-click-adventure to your heart's content.

This new version features an intro and an outro by Ragnar Tørnquist, a new font, and a dynamic help system. Which all sounds good.

The game follows April Ryan on a mystical, narrative driven escapade through a slew of different worlds, and is widely regarded to be one of the finest adventure games to ever ask you to click to move.
The Longest Journey Remastered is out right now, and it'll set you back £4.99 / $6.99 to give it a whirl.
